This is a PRS qualifying match.
Trophies will be given to the top 3 shooters.
We are working on prize sponsors and have some committed but don't expect this match to have a big prize table.
Shooters wanting to shoot this match will not be allowed to shoot the September and October monthly matches.

Thanks for the offer but I think we have enough local shooters that are willing to help with the match.

If you look at the posts of out previous matches you should get a good idea of what kind of stages we have.

Precision rifle match. Rules deal mostly with safety. Stage rules will be briefed just prior.

Join us at the Monthly matches and you will get to see the type of shooting we do. Sept match will be on Saturday the 1st.

Re: 2012 Las Vegas Invitational Crap Shoot

Everyone that sent emails is in (except a couple locals).
If you included someone else in your email make sure you tell them they need to send an email to make sure they get the required info and don't get missed.
There are only about 6 spots left so if you want in you better hurry.
I will be sending out emails in the next day or two with more info.

Thanks
Kurt

<span style="text-decoration: underline"><span style="font-weight: bold">We are full </span></span>but will accept stand buys.
I would think there will be a few that don't send their $$$ by the due date which is Aug 17. Money needs to be here by Aug 17th (not postmarked Aug 17th). At that time we will send emails to the stand buy shooters if there are any openings.

We are filled up. However you might want to get on the standby list just in case someone dont sent their entry fee in. Which must be in by 8-17 to hold their spot.

Re: 2012 Las Vegas Invitational Crap Shoot

Don't forget to send in your entry fee buy this Friday ( 8-17).
We have over 10 standby shooters that would love to have your spot.
Standby shooters will be sent emails on 8-18 if there are any openings.

Re: 2012 Las Vegas Invitational Crap Shoot

I think he deposited them on Friday. I have your application so you are good!

I will be sending a confirmation e-mail tonight to everyone and then we will contact the standbys.

<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Originally Posted By: desertratdad</div><div class="ubbcode-body">Will there be any more equipment limits? </div></div>

No Full Auto. lol

What were you thinking of? Keep it 6mm to 30 cal under 3100 fps and we are happy.

Bring several mags as we are going to force mag changes but the course of fire does not require long strings of fire.

Knee pads, elbow pads, and a rear bag are recommended.

If I need more than 3 mags I'll just load fast.

Thanks </div></div>

3 mags will get you through. You will have time between stages to reload them. I only have 3 mags for my DTA and just have to load fast while trying to keep the match flowing.

Shooters,
Kelbly's, who are renowned in the bench rest community and the sole US distributor of March scopes have decided to sponsor the 2012 LVICS!

Ian Kelbly has graciously donated a 308 bolt face action with integrated 20 MOA down cant.

On behalf of the LVICS, I would like to thank Kelbly's, and am excited to see their further involvement with the tactical precision community!!!!

What, What!?!?!?

BREVIS-Suppressor-Gun.jpg

Byron from Delta P Designs has donated a gift certificate for a 6.5mm rifle suppressor. Also, there is a good chance that Byron will be at the shoot to demo some cans for all of the shooters. The Brevis suppressor is very short, and amazingly accurate.

Thank you Delta P Design! Your continued support to the tactical precision community is much appreciated!

I will get a list of the sponsers posted here with there websites. Please thank them and try to use their products.
For not being a big prize match we are starting to get some pretty nice stuff.
