The ability to file metal and use simple hand tools is a requirement for this class. Day one of the class is not the time to realize how much metal a dremel can remove. Filing flat is a learned skill, and the more competent you are at filing, the more you will get out of the course. A good way to practice is to take odd shapes of metal and make it flat with a file. The better you are with a file, the more you will be able to learn during the class.

Students will be responsible for the course tuition, as well as the purchase of the Caspian slide/frame, all parts and the appropriate tools. Prior to the course, you should have read, and be very familiar with both of Jerry Kuhnhausen’s books on the 1911.

As this is just over 30 days away, I was speaking to Randy@Mile High and he spoke to Larry... there is a slot available at 1/2 price for a Veteran to attend as well, Randy will donate a Frame & Slide for that Veteran to use during the class.

This is a huge deal from two awesome guys.
