2017 chassis??

Depends on what works for you.

I went with manners T4 , mcree, KRG whiskey3. I took all 3 to the range; sometimes separately and sometimes together and would switch out the BA between all 3. I choose the W3 because it worked better for me.

McRee G10, Masterpiece Arms BA, KRG XRay and W3, XLR Element and Evolution, MDT ESS. The list goes on and on.

For chassis I have pretty much narrowed it down to KRG XRay and McRee G10. I am still looking at traditional stocks like the Manners T4 and Konohawk K1T. I would really like to get behind a G10 or XRay before making my decision.

I have read a lot about the XRay but have not been able to find much on the G10. Does anyone have any feedback pertaining to it?

corey4 which McRee did you have and what did you like about the KRG W3 more?

i had the g5 mcree.

the thing i like better about the krg vs all the others is the grip angle. ive tried all 3 in a few different positional situations, and the krg works best for me. if there was a 90* grip that was available for the mcree, i would have went with that.

Actually I have the G10. It is a huge improvement form their other models! I also use them because they support matches! I have a G7 it is ok. I would not hesitate to get on a
G10. Thanks for your reply
is any thing really different in chassis from 2016-2017?

I guess I should ad that really the only reason I would have kept the mcree was because I already had it.

Don't rule out that XLR still has the Envy for full release... I'm waiting to see a production model before I decide between either it or the G10.

Don't forget that sweet looking Manners stock w/ mini chassis that has that new MPA rail/barricade stop system. Looks hot. I'm contemplating placing an order for one.

Yeah, the manners looks nice. I saw them on Core's website. I just don't want to wait 6 months for one. I am torn between waiting for Grayboe's Renegade and doing the KMW loggerhead, flush cuts, and bipod rail myself or going with a McRee's G10. I would like a manners i just dont want to wait that long.

I'm an MPA fan. Never thought I'd be, but I am. I've used XLR Carbon and Element, AI AX, KRG Whiskey 3, MDT LSS, and the Magpul Hunter. The MPA (competition edition) was the most comfortable and "stable-feeling".

Chassis that I'm interested in trying though, include the XLR Envy, the MDT ESS, and of course, the Manners mini chassis w/ MPA barricade system I mentioned earlier.

Now, as far as company support and service goes, XLR wins hands down, and for that they will always have a loyal customer in me. XLR is run by solid folks and when I need a rock-solid lightweight chassis for a lighter weight build, the XLR Carbon is my go-to. Don't get me wrong, I've had great customer experiences with all of these manufacturers, but XLR went above and beyond for me.

Building my 338 Lapua last year I had to wait almost 5 months for my Cadex Field Tactical, it was will worth the wait. The fit is easy to adjust with the Skeleton butt, just 2 screws to adjust lop and cheek. It come with the Decelerator butt pad which help with recoil. Just all around it comfortable to shoot. A friend is building a 338 Lapua based on Cadex chassis after using mine.
