Would like to get a thread going because 1) this sounds awesome, 2) I'm in, and 3) I have no idea what to expect.

Any alumni that can shed some light? Gear recommendations (specifically packs)? Expect a ruck or an adventure race? Closest bar to drink beer after?

The food factory is a good place to grab dinner and beer afterwards. Only 10 min away down town lake city.

MTC is awesome i have no info for you on the 5k. Everyone i have talked to has had a blast. It sells out crazy fast every year

Damn, I've been wanting to do this event for years. I've done probably 20-25 Run N Gun matches by now, but never made it up to MTC. It always sells out long before I even knew tickets were going on sale.
