I don't see a 2021 thread, so here are a couple.
I am trying to keep count this year. The last 3 years have been 7-10 hogs each, but I loose track.

2021 hog number 1. 50 yards with buckshot.

2021 hog #2
Caller her in with piglet in distress. She came in fast and MAD.
8 yards, headshot with buckshot, running toward me.

I post my hog kills in the night vision and thermal thread, so no need to take up bandwidth double posting like an attention whore.

However, I jump ducks occasionally from my stock ponds when I have nothing better to do. This was about a week and a half ago, where I was sneaking up on a pond that had a canvas back pair in it. As I went by one pond towards the ducks, up surfaced two ringed necks from feeding. All of a sudden it was four from about 20 yards, and they blew up as soon as they saw my stupid look of amazement.

Got the first as it was just clearing the water, the second about five feet up, and the third about 10-15' up and 40 yards away. All of them were quartering away.
Then I was out of shotgun boolits, and no more fun for me except to get my fishing pole and cast to retrieve them

Don't ask me to do it again, because I'd probably go 0 for 3.

And I got this little jewel outside my front door one round 20 gauge mostly point blank game over
I was 12-13 and my dad showed up after work at the front door holding a copperhead behind the head. I grabbed my 20g and my dad and I went to the front yard. He sat the snake down and instantaneously I shot the snake and it flew about 20’ up into the air. He yelled out gd you could of at least waited till I got my hand back!

Refilled the freezer last night.Processing today.
That piglet is perfect! 20-40lbs, pull the loins, icewater for a day or so to bleed them out. Trim and clean up, black pepper and Webber parmigane garlic seasoning, then 20 minutes of real low tempt mesquite smoke on each side. Then kick up the heat to finish them off.
SOOOOO good!

Got this a couple weeks ago. First hog ever and it was a lot of fun.

Face shot at 50yrd with 11.5 in & M193. I was a little underwhelmed with the performance but the pig dropped and died quickly.

Here is my Oregon buck.

I didn't get near enough time to scout this year and this was a 2nd season tag in not a top end unit so I'm pretty happy. Not a huge buck, hard to tell but good height but not much mass. But he was in a good spot to pack out and decided not to run when I spotted him with a smaller buck so that was that

I'll share lol! I'm so fuggin excited and proud, just drawing this tag was winning the lottery. NV California bighorn, makes 160" plus but I'm not a "biggest number" dude. He's the best we found in 7 days while picking through 30 rams in the area.
