Hunting & Fishing 215 berger 230 berger or 225 eldm? For hunting 300 win mag

What is your experience with those bullets or similar ones for do it all hunting and target bullet?

215 Berger for me. The best do all bullet for the win mag by far imho. Fed 215 mag, H1000 and 215s has been very accurate in every rifle I have tried.

My 300 liked, but didn’t love the 215 Bergers, they shot ok. I killed several whitetails with the 215 from 100 out to 650ish. No complaints about the 215 performance. I never recovered a bullet and I never lost an animal with it. My rifle loves the 212 eldx. I’ve had the same results with both Bullets on deer. I pushed both Bullets with H1000 out of a trued model 70 with a 28” Broughton 1:10 in a manners eh1.

How did speed compare between the 2? I have had great results with 212 eldx in other rifles. Just been using the 225eldm for targets but wanted to hunt with what i target shoot with

I'm at 3060 with the 212. The 215 was around 2950, I think... it was definitely a little slower.

I have a 28 inch barrel 1-8 twist trying the 245 bergers nothing good yet. 225eldm shoot amazing. But i do have a really long throat so idk what that will do to the shorter 212 eld x lol

I dont have the COAL with me right now, but I'm definitely jumping the 212s. The Berger's shot best just off of the lands

That might work. Being greedy for higher bc lol i shoot out to a mile so want the best of both worlds
