22 dasher powders to try.

I can’t seem to find any Varget. I have H4350 and XBR 8208. H4350 seems a tad slow but I see some guys are using it. Has anyone tried 8208? I’m hoping to run the 88 eldm in a 22” Brux.

8208 is certainly worth a try. I run H4350 almost exclusively.

What bullets are you guys phasing with ur br and dashers and length of bbls I just ordered up my 22 dasher barrel and am hoping to push the 85-90s at 3200ish from a 22 tube

What kind of speed are you seeing with 4350?
I’m running the 75 eldms and alpha ocd dasher brass.

Ran them over 3500 but I prefer them at 3375/3400. Throat moves quick enough the way it is

Wow, do you remember what freebore? I started at 31 grns and worked up from there got a pretty stiff bolt and pressure signs at 34 gns. Velocity was right at 3100.

At the moment I’m running 31.9 grns or SW precision and the 88 eld. Velocity is around 3175.

Old post but figured I would add.

88 to 95 grain bullets in my 22 dasher like 32 grains of varget.

3140 fps with 90 and 95. 3180 with 88. This is with a 26” 6.5T barrel.

Had the 88 over 3300 fps with varget but it wasn’t a sustainable load. Brass was taking a hit.
