I asked this question on the post with a .22 of mine but I figure it might get more answers here. I have a custom .22 that my fiancee's dad made her for her bday. It has a whistle pig barrel which came compensated. If I wanted to suppress this rifle would I have to cut it back past the small slits or could I have it thread as is? Would the pressure from something as small as a .22 coming though the compensated part of the barrel do dmg to the suppressor threads?
