Just got my 22 back from GAP and wanted to get some ammo advice. I plan on using an AAC Element 2 with the rifle most of the time. The gun us built on a CZ 452 action.

22 Trainer back from GAP - Need ammo advice

I loved my CZ, sadly i sold it for a Stiller rimfire. Im tickled with the Stiller, i just wish i had both.
For paper Wolf Match/SK Plus is a good starting point to see what the RIFLE likes. If you are more discerning, Wolf ME/SK Match. This is NOT to say your rifle will not perform as well or better with something else. It's simply a good solid proven go to ammo recommendation.
Hunting, buy what you can find for now and see what it shoots the best with...buy some more but always be open to the fact that the same ammo brand can shoot very differently from lot to lot. Having said that, always keep an open mind when buying rimfire ammo.

Very nice - I have a rimfire on the list! Wish I had one now as components for everything else I shoot is a little harder to find than 22LR for me.
I didn't go with the G2 and probably should have. I have it in my XRS on my 6m Creedmoor and LOVE it. My can should be here in the next couple of weeks. Where can you find match ammo?
Wolf match is good stuff.....IF you can find it. Been pretty slim lately.

Most of what they have is out of stock, but they will let you back order it. My last back order of Wolf MT took about a month to get. My first order from them was also back ordered, but it shipped the day after I ordered it. They will currently let you back order Wolf Match Extra, Several different types of Eley and also SK Jagd.

Also try ISS-International Shooters Service - this would be good for you too eclipse as it is pretty local to us Grapevine, TX guys. They are off 820 just south of 121 near Texas Mastercraft. Call first and talk to Neal Stepp - walk ins are basically appointment only and bring cash! He has several Eley types in stock. This is where I get my R-50.

Thanks for the links and I just sent ISS an email. I also called Champchoice and they are out of Wolf Match Extra. It's SUCKS that 22 ammo is so damn hard to get and I have a new gun to shoot.
