22 Upper Jamming, WTF?

I bought an upper with one of the Air Force 22LR conversion units.

Spent brass is getting deflected up and getting wedged between the BCG and the charging handle.

Is there an easy fix for this (other than buying another conversion or a dedicated upper)?

the 22 conversion has a gas key. so i don't think it will work.

Try different types of ammo. My Spikes does that if I use the wrong ammo.

+1 on that, my kit gets those types of jams with some ammo, but will run 100% with plated stuff

greased it up like a sow in heat and it's loving CCI mini mag and CCI 22 AR Tactical
