.222 bullet seater for .223?

It seems like it would work. Has anyone tried this? If so, is it good to go? The reason I ask is because my .222 competition dies are much nicer than my plain .223 dies and would like to know if I can use the seater on the .223.

I use the .222 seater for all .224 size cases like .221 .222 and .223. I'm wondering if it would work with 22-250 with my .243 shell holder ?

.22-250 and .243 are both based off the .308 case. All are 0.4728 rim diameter. Yes the shell holder works.

Not to pick nits, but the .22-250 parent case is the .250 Savage, not the .308.

Length wise probably, but the width of the case would be a problem if trying to use a .222 seater as the .22-250 is a fatter case.

Thanks for the correction. I found a piece of .22-250 in my .308 pile today and got all confused.
