WTB .223 Barreled Action

Wanting To Buy
Hadn’t really thought of selling but have an origin action w Krieger 24” MTU chambered by Owens ordinance. I’d have to go count but thinking less than 300 down the tube.

You all need to immediately stop posting WTB Posts regardless of where you post them

WTB are absolutely nothing but Spammer Bait, and you need to stop asking to rip you off

I am dead serious they are using gmail now, I just nuked a dozen gmail accounts, I have a feeling there are dozen working right now but hey are blocking the IP with the Hide my IP stuff so it prevents me from seeing the connections to other accounts

Please, of all things Holy do not post willing to buy, and abso - fucking- lutely report anything with a low message count trying to offer you something. If you get a PM with any kind of offer, my friend, me, him, the other guy, report that account

We have to stop feeding the scammers, and you guys are the only way"

Serious question. I don't really do forums much as i just don't have a lot of free time (work and two young kids etc).

Question is, what would be a good way for someone like myself who just decided to look for a specific gun (a .223 bolt action) for my son to post to find out?

I mean I have seriously low numbers etc. A lot of people might have things they are thinking about selling but wouldn't know i was looking.

Backstory: My son is 11 and recoil sensitive but like the aspect of precision shooting with me (only out to 200 yds right now). I can build him a heavy AR but we like bolt guns. My one avg weight AR in 5.56 with a silencer was a little too much recoil for him to be ok with. He shot 308 subs out of one of my rem 700s and like it. So my thoughts are a .223 rem 700 that either is set up to be heavy and threaded or cheap where i can chamber him a barrel real quick from a blank real quick and add a heavier stock with wasting money.

I have thought about getting him a Savage 110 Elite Precision and just be done....or maybe a ruger precision in 6.5 cm and add a TON of weights to it. But how would someone get all that info out there without posting a WTB ad?
