.223 tracers, tannerite and gas

Posted this earlier and it disappeared. Maybe it was deleted? I got no notifications if it was.... But maybe that's how they roll on this forum. Anyway, I'll take a stab at it again.

Simple question: 1/2 lb of tannerite duct taped to milk jug full of gasoline and shot with a.223 tracer at a distance of 100yards with an angle that would cause the round to pass through the explosive and into the gasoline.

Will it ignite the gas?

I want to do this without a secondary ignition source like a road flare.

Don't need a safety lecture or a legal briefing.

Don't need a best guess. If you've done it before or seen it done yourself then let me know if I'm on the right track.

No. We're not messing around with gasoline and tannerite. There are plenty of other sources where you can find information on this type of crap.
