So, I loaded up five 68gr Hammer HHTs for the .22GT. One charge each from 38.4 to 40gr H4350 in .4gr increments, in order to find max pressure. Only made it through the first three rounds before getting ejector marks. But they are smokin’ fast and those three rounds with three different charges went into about .25”.

Good to know. I have some of those 68 HHT’s on the way, plus some of the 63 grain Absolutes. Wasn’t sure which powder to use for the Absolute Hammers.

I shot the 73gr absolutes in my 22cm few years ago, case was topped off with rl26, and used my vibrating media tumbler to settle the powder to make room for seating. They shot surprisingly well at 3750fps.

Hondo….. wondering if you have tried Vargert or 8208 with those 68gr hammers? Been looking at the same load for my 22GT, interested how your development is going.

I have some Varget and N150 but haven’t tried them with the 68gr HHTs yet. When shooting 77gr TMKs, Varget pressured out at a significantly lower velocity than H4350.
