240 weatherby brass to 6 cm?

I've heard of using 240 weatherby brass for 6 cm and am curious to the credibility of this? Being as the hornady brass seems really soft/questionable

Is 6 CM belted? I think not. .240 weatherby brass likely is more expensive than 6 CM anyway.

No it's not belted. More expensive yes less primers just falling out of brass yes

240 Weatherby is indeed a belted case, and the answer is no - it can't be used to form 6 Creedmoor (or 6 Comp Match for that matter).

If you want to form 6 Creedmoor, start with Lapua 22-250 or 308.

I knew the 6cm isn't belted but I know nothing about 240 weatherby is why I asked.

I'm just wanting better brass then hornady I've heard alot of negative feedback on the their brass

6 creedmoor is a 6 creedmoor.

Norma and Nosler have 6.5 Creedmoor brass either out now or coming soon if you're not happy with Hornady.

Cool Ive never used Nosler brass but heard good things and I've used norma brass for my 308 it's good brass
