Has anybody kept records or currently shooting this combination of 110 SMK with .243 Win. I can't figure out why Sierra only has load data for 6mm Creedmoor for the 110 SMK. I found a bunch of these bullets in storage I forgot I had.

It is due to barrel twist rates. most 243 rifles are 1:9-1:10 twist, which will not stabilize anything over 100 grains reliably. Hodgdon and Hornady have data for heavier bullets.

Sierra's app has data for that combo. What powder are you looking at?
It is not a traditional chart, but has a slider at the bottom so it is hard to post min and max without knowing what to focus on.

This question is obviously for people shooting it with a 7 twist barrel as recommended by Sierra.

Anyway, lets say H4350
You can see how the app is a little weird to deal with, but here is min and max with H4350.

I use 107 smk’s in my 243. 1:7 barrel. It shoots the 107s and 95s lights out. The problem with the 110s in the 243 is that you have to seat them so far back unless you have a custom chamber.

Try the 107 243 from Spark Munitions and see how it shoots out of your rifle. I think you’ll love them. That’s what I run.
