Here's another 260 that was finished up a few days ago. 8.5#'s minus optic.

Mr. Roscoe,
Is the crown something like an 11-degree in addition to recessed, or is it just recessed? In the photo it appears to be both. Great rifle either way. Thanks for sharing.

It's a 15 degree recessed crown. 11 degrees would work the same and you couldn’t tell the difference between the two. The added recess is just for added protection as is the 60 degree chamfer at the end of the lands.

Very cool! I didn't notice the chamfer at first, but nowI see it clearly in the photo. Thanks.
