260 AI in an AI AT

Is anyone running a 260 AI barrel on thier AT it AX. Any feeding issues? I was considering having one spun up for my AT to shoot the berger 156 as a hunting round but didn't know if there would be any feeding issues with the sharp 40 degree shoulder in the double stack mags.

I wanted a 243ai in my at. Rds fed kinda crappy and got gouges in shoulders from feed ramp. Also, I couldn't put more than 3 rds in the at mag. The shoulders hit the rib and caused cases to be pushed towards center of mag.

Then he must have had the ribs milled out. I assume a 260ai is really close to 243ai, in shoulder location?

After some serious studying into this let me ask y'all a question. With any of these other calibers mentioned would I gain any significant performance difference over a plain old 243. I was looking at the dogtown brass at midway. It is crazy cheap and there is always the old " can get ammo anywhere" argument.
I mean obviously the 260 has more energy on target but for regular old recreational target shooting and maybe dome prairie dog shooting would I be gaining enough to make a difference by going to something I have to fireform for and such?

Yeah, but you're still mag oal limited. Meaning bullet seated even deeper is sweedmoor case, eating up powder capacity, effectively making it a 260ai, lol.
