Anyone care to share thier experience loading for a 260AI? My barrel is a 9-twist, so I am shooting 120 gr. A-max or potentially 130 Gr. VLDs. Any informmation would be appreciated.

Re: 260 AI -Looking for load data

I know in a standard 260 H4350 powder is widely used. I run 42.5 in mine with a 140 or 142. You will probably be 3 or 4 grains more capacity, you can make that 120 scream. But that powder will most likely work very good.

Used to shoot the 139 Scenars with 4831sc. I want to say I was pushing it around 2950. Powder charge was high 47's to 48's depending on the brass I fire formed. A real barrel burner of a round if you want it to be. Good luck

Re: 260 AI -Looking for load data

Wha primers are you using? I have been running Fed 210m but have been told to try WLR's or even the Fed 215m.

Any thoughts on either one of those?

Re: 260 AI -Looking for load data

Just to update anyone who read this. I was able to get very consistent velocity and great groups with 47.1 grains of H4831sc, 120 Grain A-Max, Lapua 308 brass necked downed and turned with a 210M lighting the candle.

Not that anyone cares...but I need 100 posts so I can sell some shit.
