260 Criterion Remage free bore

I picked up a 260 criterion with the longer match chamber. Does anyone have any data on OAL for 140 A-max and 140 hybrids with this barrel?

I will be blowing out the donor case for the Hornady gauge this weekend so I haven't measure yet. I'd like to order the bottom metal. Does the AICS mag allow you to seat on the lands with the hybrids?

Tag. I too have a Criterion Remage in 260 "Match". I spdidnt really know what was different about the match chamber. Sorry I don't have a modified case to measure the free ore of mine, but it shoots Berger 140 VLDs loaded to aics mag length really well

AICS allow ~2.880" -- you can remove the front plate of mag to get ~2.980" but you will also likely have to notch the feed ramp on your action if stock Rem 700. That is my plan. You can also purchase Alpha 2 mags (Alpha Type 2 Magazine / AICS Short Action 308) but there are mixed reviews on feeding reliability and will still have same issue with Rem 700 feed ramp.

I have some Alpha IIs and they work great in my Savage action, Manners stock and CDI bottom metal. I can't remember how much extra room that gives me because I've went back to my old load where I don't need the extra room but I've been pleased with them. My new remage .260 will go in a AICS so I don't know yet if they will work in it.

140 hybrid gave me 2.910" OAL and 2.243" to ogive on the lands with my CDI 260 match.
