imho the difference between the two is the shoulder angle. i like 30* better than 20*, but then, i like the 40* even more. i'm getting close to 10 firings on some of my 260AI brass and have yet to need to trim (though not much of it since i keep losing it at matches)
and fwiw, the advantage for the 6.5x47L is small primers. there are quite a few folks who think lower ES can be obtained with small primers. (thus the popularity of the palma brass)
