.260 Remington Barrel Length, twist and contour

I am interested in building a light tactical bolt action rifle with an 18" barrel in 260 Remington. .(260 for less recoil due to bad shoulders)

1. Would 18" be adequate for 1000yd sub moa accuracy?

2. What is the minimum barrel contour I would use for this build? I don't want the barrel to heavy, but stiff enough for accuracy.

3. What is an optimal twist rate for 120gr-142gr?

Welcome to the Hide.

Also, I am going to have a build down on a .260 20" 1:8 twist; haven't decided on the stock yet. It will go to 1000 yards when it's done.
