Still can't figure out if they also had a pistol or just a "Glock pistol magazine" and 50 rounds of centerfire for it.

I wonder what would happen if I drove down to Widener's and casually bought 27,000 rounds of M855?

(And is it really a "cache" if it's rolling on wheels in a vehicle?)

It is when you are an illegal... Two illegal immigrants pleaded guilty in Texas on Monday to possessing 27,000 rounds of assault rifle ammunition along the U.S.-Mexico border

Isn't it really child killing ammunition?

As I see it, that's 27,000 children who were just saved! Or 13,500 if double taps were in order. Of course, if the three round burst feature were to be employed then only 9000 children were saved. Then again, if we're talking real assault weapons then as few as 900 children might have been saved, assuming 30 round magazines, loaded to capacity...

But anyway...Children are safe now!

My Daughter laughed when she read this and then looked at me and said ."27000 rounds ? Sounds like an afternoon in the desert !"

From the mouth's of Babes ..... LOL

That's about what I was thinking, too.
