.270 powder choice

I have been using R 19 in my .270 because it is the only powder for rifle I had. Any other recommendations, pushing a speer 130 bullet.

H4831SC has always performed in 06 cases for me. Especially likes to shoot around max.

H 4831. 57-62 grains with 130 grain bullet.

spife7980 did you notice the barrel length on the chart? 15" I had to look hard because velocity seemed low.

I have always used IMR4350 with great sucess. I am sure H4350 would be equally good with a 130gr bullet and add the benefit of better temp stability (its also currently unobtainium). I will be trying IMR 4451 to see if it runs with my 4350 loads as that is right in the same burn range. I noticed that Midway had some Shooters World SW4350 you could try.

I have been using Hybrid 100V in both 270 Win and 6.5 Creedmoor and have had very accurate consistent results.
