I am having a rifle built in a 280AI and was wondering if anyone has had good success with Superperformance Powder. It has similar burn rates to RL22 and H4831. I am open to all powders though.

what projectile? are you looking for high velocity with great accuracy or more along the lines of lower speeds but an absolute hammer? I have a very good "all around" load. Seems to work great in all temperatures we've tried it in so far. Let me know if you want it, I'll be happy to share my load. It shoots .25 MOA all day long

Looking for a target load using 162gr A-Max at around 3000fps and any good hunting load for antelope, deer or elk. I would like an all around load so I would appreciate anything you are willing to offer and .25MOA is great.Thanks

You got it. I use 162 grain AMAX's as well. I'm using federal #215 large rifle magnum match primers and 54.5 grains of reloader 17. Seeing average velocity around 2980 with no signs of pressure. Hope it works out for ya! Let me know. I shoot long range occasionally and deer hunt with mine.

As to joining a contest, no thanks. I shoot good, but not good enough. More of that is the rifle, not this shooter
