I don't but I have shot them in a 7 rem mag with marginal results, 1" groups at best from a rifle that will do 3/8" groups with 180 Bergers. Had a 9 twist barrel which is potentially the issue. I think Hornady says 8, or 8.5 twist. I am curious if you got them to group and what your twist is.
Yeah I’ve got them grouping at about .5 MOA off a bipod.
I built my rifle on an Origin action Carbon six 24” 1-8 twist barrel.
Best results so far are 57.5 gr RL23 CCI BR2 .025 jump and getting 2920 FPS
Excellent, well I'm guessing your 8 twist is the key, mine just wouldn't perform. Sounds like great results, that's some very impressive velocity from only a 24" barrel. I'm loading 69gr of H1000 in a 28" barrel and am about 2950fps, so with 10 grains less powder and a 4" shorter barrel and you're getting the same performance as me or darn close to it.
I was honestly surprised about velocity too. I have doubted it, I was thinking 2850-2900 but my magneto always seems to be pretty accurate I’ll have to double check with drops.
I bet it's right. I am shooting a 5 grain heavier bullet which makes a difference, and am getting 30 more fps. My 2950 is per drops not chronograph, so not sure if it's directly comparable but got to be close. It seems the last 10 grains always make much less velocity than the first 10 do, another example is 6 creed vs 6 dasher, similar thing happens there.
