Since there isnt much load data for the 280 and I am sure some of us on the hide shoot this caliber, I thought maybe everyone could post their load data with barrel make and twist here to help others.

This load is right around MOA. Going to try H1000 as soon as my order gets here. Hoping to get it down around .5 MOA with higher velocity.

Just received Remington brass, 162 and 168[MK]. Have 210m primers.
Only need a powder. 25" 9 twist.
Let's get this going again. My rifle and load specs are:
Trued Remington 700 action, 26 inch M24 contour Bartlein barrel with a 9 twist
168gr SMK seated 0.010" off the lands
Remington brass neck sized with a 0.308" Redding bushing
CCI large rifle primers
53.2gr of H4831
COAL is 3.322" and 2.656" at the ogive
1/2 inch 5 shot group, 2812 fps avg., SD 2.6, ES 6
I have a 100 count box in each of the 175 and 180 gr. SMKs that I'm going to try in my 280. Does anyone have load data for these? I also contacted Sierra and asked if the 9 twist will be enough to stabilize both bullets and was told yes and maybe enough for the 183 gr. SMK too.
I've got a custom shop 700 in a 280 remington with a 24" tube. If someone could please run it at max 270 pressures, with the 150g ballistic tip and 162g Amax with all powders, that would be awesome. Reason I ask at 270 pressures is because the 280 is historically down loaded to the...
