The people working in government with their own agendas - do not appreciate the limits placed upon government by that document.... so they find ways to circumvent it whenever possible.

Government will not tolerate being told what it CANNOT do, history is full of examples of govt officials / lawmakers / POTUS crafting workarounds to constitutionally imposed limitations. Now that it's common knowledge that ANY emergency is a good enough reason to suspend the Constitution - we have lots and lots of emergencies.

Obviously most amendments have conditions or limitations on them. You can't yell fire in a crowded theater unless there is an actual fire etc. We all love the 2nd as much as you and realize it's being eroded but let's not start taking a victim stance liya bunch of whiny wokes.
