3 KFC......yes KFC, close their doors in Chi-raq.

Don't know if anyone remembers, but KFC used to make bar-b-que chicken, back in the 70's if I remember right.
Once they stopped making that option they went downhill.
Used to be you could see the pressure cookers they would deep fry the chicken in.....now all you see is the drawer it mysteriously appears from.

Fuck all these new ways they make their shit and try to slough it off to the masses.
Give me a burger fresh off the grill, not off the robotic, microwave, induction heat, freshly frozen, unrecognizable trash they serve these days.

I went thru a McDonalds drive thru a few weeks ago to get a simple coffee.
The menu showed a Big Mac is now like $9 by it's self.....not a meal, just the burger, and this is in the middle of nowhere small town USA.
That shit ain't worth $2 in todays money, I could probably replicate it exact for less than that and I am being very honest with the whole thing.
You cannot look at the meat and say with any certainty that it is indeed meat, the bun is so airy it has to have less than 1oz of actual dough used....and that shit is dirt ass cheap.
Fuck them all, let them burn.
You should probably watch the video of Tucker Carlson buying a week's worth of groceries for four people in a Moscow supermarket and how much that cost....

Between the wife and I, we've spent a lot of time in Budapest. At the Grand Market Hall, meat and produce is between 25 and 35 percent of the cost in the US. And, the quality of goods is spectacular, far better than the crap that we get here in the states.

I was only in Budapest once for a short time in the 90's (during Kosovo/Bosnia). Loved it.

Look at half you poors arguing over which fast food slop is acceptable, and the other half put ketchup on steaks.

Its like going to a slipknot concert and expecting that skinny dude taylor swift to be the opening act around here.

Y'all never heard of 'Raising Canes' huh ?
that place is worse than chick fil a, no question, it's cheaper though, so it has that advantage.
It was better yeas ago(like everything else) but seemed to go downhill more than others

Not sure how many states (over a dozen) they are in, but my current favorite chain chicken place is Hangry Joes
Even if you do not get the hot ones, the plain no heat are good.

I haven't eaten in a KFC in probably 5 years, maybe longer. To be fair, I don't eat a lot of fast food.

I recently had an Arbys roast beef sandwich and it was horrible. They weren’t the best to begin with but this was like eating flavored rubber.

Precisely. For the first time in almost 3-4 years, I had my favorite Burger King meal within the last two weeks. I had been very good about avoiding BK (and I really don't do any other fast food), because I'm a type II diabetic. But I did it anyway because I had just had that certain G.I. medical procedure (you can probably guess:p) that requires an empty digestive track... a reward, of sorts, I guess for being so disciplined with the "prep" and he "NPO" period. That, and I wanted to throw what little support to BK that I could (don't want to see it go down). I actually like their burgers. Never really liked MC'D. I'm guessing that's because there was a BK right across the street from the main center of my Univ. campus and we went to it all the time.

I don't recall the last time I did KFC. Why do that when you have all kinds of alternatives to it that are 100 times better. I was spoiled rotten by this place up in Branford Fl called "Sister's Cafe." It's sort of like a Chinese $10.00 all you can eat buffet, but with the absolute best Southern Home Cooking one can find. And the absolute best Southern Fried Chicken around. But they do so much more. CFS Strips with the pepper cream gravy, fried popcorn shrimp, green beans, all of it! They try to keep the costs down because their primary constituency are all the locals that don't have much to spend. But they can get a nice meal, there. And, to top it off, they're "2A friendly!" :D I wish I could "beam myself" up there whenever I want to go eat. That and my most favorite BBQ place in Crawfordville, FL (Wakulla County) called "Hamanockers." I'd hit both of those places regularly when I did a lot of cave diving up there. But it's probably why I gained so much weight. I'm losing weight now (except for that recent BK meal :D) but we'll see how things go.

Now, did you craft that one based on Slipknot's singer being named Corey Taylor or was that just a happy accident?

Asking for a friend.

Hah, i see someone picked up on that. Glad it wasnt wasted.
I may be crap as a gun expert but I have a head full of useless music trivia. Like what rock and roll star had the lowest paying job.

David Lee Roth. Worked on his uncle's ranch mucking horse stalls for room and meals. It won't do me any good and yet, there it is, taking up space.

Modernly, David Lee Roth has been a certified New York City paramedic.

The singer from the Georgia Satellites mowed lawns for a living.

So did Steven Tyler of Aerosmith. He was mowing a lawn when Joe Perry drove up to the house to visit someone who lived there.

Corey Taylor also sings for Stone Sour.

He also writes books, including his experiences with ghosts.

Rikki Rockett from Poison started a custom drum making company.

Bobby Blotzer from Ratt owned a company that rented carpet cleaning equipment.

Bruck Dickinson from Iron Maiden is a commercial airline pilot rated for 767, 747. On two world tours, he has flown a modified 767 and a 747 to get from show to show. And is part owner of an airline company in Cardiff, Wales.

I should stop now.

He does. He flies movie crews around sometimes to location. The plane is an old QANTAS (aussie airline).

Always in the media here.
