Built this rifle for a friend of mine. He wanted a lightweight rig for a Marco Polo Hunt he has in a couple years. LPA Fuzion Ti action, Proof 1:9 @ 24”, Manners elite T5, Triggertech primary. Running 215 Berger’s @ 2920 over 77.1gr of RL26. Got an ES of 7 FPS at .100” jump. Groups .5 MOA @ 100 but the only two rounds fired @ 735 yards grouped as below. I’m very happy with how it turned out.

I only see one impact on the steel?
I’m pretty sure the bare spot on the right is an impact. Target rang on both shots. No other impacts on it. Here is a single shot on the preceding target @ 540 yds.

Both of the impacts from the first image were centered up nicely, a little above center, just like this one. I don’t think I was clean off the target but I suppose it’s possible tho. Rifle needs more rounds down the tube to confirm but as I said, early signs are promising.

Regarding reamer spec it is SAAMI but it’s jumping a whole .100”. That puts the front of the boat tail just above the neck in this case. If I was ordering a reamer just for the 215’s I might consider a shorter freebore.

They will fit fine in a mag box yes but you are leaving a lot of neck unused doing it that way. That was much less of a problem with the 230’s, much shorter ogive. 210 ABLRs were the same way. I probably should have clarified that.

All good. Here is a pic for reference. Looks about .060 ish. Eyeballing it.

Sweet build though. Your buddy will enjoy that thing.

How far back did you seat yours in load development? I took mine all the way back to .120” jump. Best was at 100 off for me. Groups were smallest there too, however shooting for small groups with a lightweight rig burning this much powder isn’t the easiest thing I’ve ever done.

Only the 20 thou off after my "at the lands" pressure ladder test.

Shoots under half inch 5 round groups with single digit SDs so I didnt need to do anything else with it. 400 some down the pipe and going strong.
