Is there any powder and COAL consistencies that members have found with their 300 RUM s
I am new to the rum and after 2 years have finally had my build finished

A friend of mine uses RL22 powder, and 180gr Sierra game king. I will ask for his load data.

Thanks . In a different caliber I have found there have been consistent results across the board . Using the law of average can save a lot of work not saying that it works out for all.

I have a tight chamber but 208 Amax and 215 hybrids over 90.5 of Retumbo does it well. Powders for ultra are Retumbo, h1000, rl25, and rl33. All work great

Amaxes work at .030 off lands and 215 works well at .050 for me

I just finished developing a load for mine with the 215 hybrids and retumbo.
I'm loaded coal at 3.745". I run them out of CIP mags.
A 168 berger vld hunter and RL25 gets me about 18 MOA at 1000 yards.
Perform a ladder test and the cartridge will amaze you.
Just tell the bench next to you to hold onto their coffee cups and hats if you run a brake.

I'm glasgows friend
the load I use is 86.5 gr of Re 22 with a Hornady 180 SST. 3.690 overall length, federal primers. shoots excellent when I have my shit together.
The rifle is a 700 BDL no frills plain jane hunting rifle with a muzzle break.

I am using the federal primers as well and have really liked the winchester combined technologies for hunting work and the seem not to foul the rifle as much. I do go through the batches and sort them into weights and check the shape
