300 wsm brass and bushing selection

Building a 300 wsm, need some help with brass and bushing size.

From what I can gather Norma seems to be the most consistent??

How is brass life with Norma? If anyone can give me some ideas on neck thickness of their lots of Norma 300 wsm brass that would be helpful.

Norma brass and the .337 bushing is a great start.

Thanks, What is your loaded round OD with Norma? Do you know the thickness of your necks by any chance??

Loaded was .339 at the pressure ring. Can’t remember neck thickness off top of my head. Can check it this weekend when I’m home. I just loaded a round got the loaded round measurement and subtracted .002.

I have 2 300 WSM's. I use Norma brass in my GAP and I have gotten at least 10 loadings with it. I also use Nosler in my 700. More expensive but I don't shoot it as much since it is my hunting rifle. And it helps me keep them separate.

Let me know if you would like more information relative to fired vs virgin case dimensions.

Norma neck thickness would be super helpful... if you have water capacity of a fired case with Norma that would also be helpful too

Mine is .016 neck thickness don’t have the capacity just yet. Get that for you Saturday evening.
