I tried for about 2 years with a 308 . Couldn’t get consistent. Now I have (2) 6BRs and (1) 308 . 308 is either going to be sold or rebarreled to 6BR . In my mind it’s the only caliber to use .
Same exact experience here. I know of only a couple guys 3 to be exact that have shot clean scores with a .308. Now I have 2 6br barrels, a 6 dasher 3 6 ppc's and a .223 and 2 .308's for comp.
6 ppc is even more accurate than 6br, but worse when windy and more initial brass work.
