Range Report 300 yd target

I just had to show this to someone.

This was the only 5 shots I fired today. I couldnt make out the bullet impacts at 300 yds through my scope, but I am calling the hi left hole the clean cold bore shot. The other 4 holes are 1.95". I'm pretty happy about that. I think the one on the right was when I didnt wait for a gust of wind to pass and just shot anyway. Wind was at 8 o'clock gusting to about 10mph.

Nice looking group. What caliber/bullet/barrel particulars? And what part of OH is home?

AR platform in 5.56 with a 20" SS Bull Delton 1X8 twist. Shooting a 75 Gr Hornady bthp seated to OAL 2.260.

I am in South East Ohio, between Chillicothe and Athens.

I went back out yesterday and was unable to come close to a repeat.

Years ago I serviced microwave towers in Chillicothe, Maxville, Beaver and other locations. You must be in about the middle of those three.

I am straight east of Chillicothe about 25 miles.

I'm now retired and live in a 43' motorhome. We're currently in Arizona but we usually spend the summers near Mt Vernon, OH.
