Range Report 300win mag load requested

i have a sendero in 300winmag, that i am shooting

185 Lapua's out of , with Ramshot magnum ;

right now the load is

78 grains of magnum
WLRM primer
185 grain lapua
win brass

no signs of pressure and great accuracy

this load yields 2975 MV

i have read - that there is a load that would push , the 185 to 3200MV -

does anyone have information on what it is ?

I've gotten a 180 up to 3050. But 3200 fps, you might be able to do it once! Where did you read about this load, it might be there where your info is? Why the need for such speed?

would suggest the 208 AMAX pill. I am driving it about 3000 fps.

i hate to quote the source , take it with a grain of salt

will have to skim through it and see if the load is mentioned
but yeah i too thought that was pretty speedy . . .

my pet load was 210 bergers at 3000mv, using ramshot magnum

now i have several boxes of bullets to shoot; and one of them is 1000 bullets of 185 lapua's

the other is 1000 208 amax's! so we shall see

Banshee; 3200 fps is not likely with the 26" Sendero barrel. You're going to need at least 4 to 6 inches more barrel, and I still don't know if the WinMag can push 185s that fast, even with a full case of Magnum.
