Well, it's hard to find match grade brass on govt. auctions, but when it's .300 WinMag with a LC headstamp, you can be pretty sure it is. Wish I could use it. 300lb. lot (including the pallet and crate for some reason?). The .40 and 9mm brass are in 300lb. lots so I mentioned them, they usually come in larger lots or mixed in much larger lots. .40 is kinda rare. Make sure to look up spot price on brass because you mostly compete with local scrappers. Being in an unknown weight crate with pallet and in a small lot may keep 'em away though.

All three I mention are in Clarksville, but you can have it shipped anywhere via logistics. Govliquidation.com has this, the auction will only be up for a few more days before it closes.

I'm not sure what the true value is and it doesn't seem
like enough is interested. and I don't think anyone's gonna post the amount they want and how much they'll pay.

This is already too much for one individual to buy. But I'll say again, IF there is truly an interest in this and I can break even, willing to support a group buy.

If that's the new winmag 220gr sniper brass may want to pass on it , if I'm not mistaking that stuff runs upwards of 70kpsi , and lowlight did a little tutorial on it and I think the primer Pockets where loose, could be wrong , maybe he'll chime in .

    I'm certainly paying attention now!

The .300 Win Mag is a great deal if there are some Sh members interested in doing a share. I may take a run at this. That is great brass!

There are some great deals on .50 too. I am in Mechanicsburg, PA all the time, too. I could go get a couple of tons of 50 easily.

    Thoughts?

    Cheers,

    Sirhr

I may need to hit you up for help if you have base access... I'll give you a great deal on brass! My last ton of BMG brass came out of there. I/we use a logistics company for the majority of sales on here. It's not TOO bad, but it does raise the price. I couldn't have driven there and picked it up myself for less.

Yeah, all that .300WM LC brass was for bolt guns... Hard has hell to find LC LR marked cases, but I'm looking. I generally snatch up anything short of a half ton or so, but I'd be willing to share 5.56 or 7.62 which comes up ALL of the time. No guarantee it wasn't fired in MG's, but it can be sorted. MG and neck damaged brass still makes great .300BLK brass if you convert it yourself.

I'll post more of these when I run across 'em. I get killer deals on ammo cans too. Tents, gear, whatever the military uses I can get it provided it isn't restricted. Even had a pair of NV aviation goggles recently that went for $5000... Was NIB with proper receipt. Great deals on anything really. Let me know if you run across something like high end brass, maybe LC LR 7.62, I'll go in on it with you.

I should have bought this .300WM.

The 300 lbs in Clarksville was FC i believe, thats what most of thr mil surplus 300WM ive seen has been. This lot ended up selling for over 1800. Not sure how many pieces of 300WM is in a pound, anyone know?

Thanks for sharing this stryker wouldn't have known about it.

if this happens again and it's in the fort Campbell area, I will be down to help set up distribution. There was just a lacknof interest in the group this time, assuming it was a first time
    for a lot including me.
