Didn’t have but a little while today to play with some loads. Longest I could load them and still get in my DMB was 3.670, which was .060 jump. I was hoping to get up to around 77 grains of H1000 but was starting to flatten primers at 76. So I settled on 75 and shot it at 400 yards which produced just over a 2 inch group that was abt 3/4 to an inch high. Rilfe is a remington 700 Alaskan with a 26 inch barrel. It’s never been super accurate(1/2 to 3/4 MOA) so I was pleased with that load. I didn’t chrono them but based on the elevation I had dialed, it was right around 2900 FPS. Does this sound like I am in the right ballpark? Brass was new SIG brass and federal magnum primers.
