Yup, that'll do. And with factory ammo to boot. One of the reasons I love the 308 and 6.5 Creed. Find (or build) a rifle that shoots factory stuff like that, and go buy 1000 rounds. Good times.

Nice dot drill(s)--what target is that pmclaine?
I'll be doing this test in 5-8 weeks hopefully.

    Look up member deltawiskey.

    Its his dot drill target.

I have the PDF on a memory stick but for some reason when I have tried to upload it hasnt worked right.

Its not because delta has protected the file or anything its an issue on my end being a caveman unable to manipulate a computer.

Isnt it a special feeling having a rifle you have total confidence in......

Very nice, I have a couple of questions when your firing for groups like that looking through the scope what are you seeing, any left to right ticks? That's what I see about a quarter to a half-inch left to right tick that correlates with my heartbeat. Do you see any of that while firing these groups also the shot placement or point of impact of all these groups are different I'm curious why that is why wouldn't it all be in the same point of impact instead of circling the target?

Miarage, lots of mirage right to left. Two different holds completely on each stock. I like the pistol grip much better.

Thats the blood pumping through your face when you have a vein pressed up tight against the hard stock, each heart beat will be a pulse in the scope. A different position, cheek piece or a stock pad can help mitigate that. Or just dont press your face down on it as hard. My krg xray was doing that to me driving me crazy so I threw a weibad pad on and its gone.

And its a group, its radially dispersed. If its perfectly zeroed and any rifle that shoots above .000" it will be a group around the point of aim. If you laid all of his shots on top of one another it would look like a normal group anyone else shoots where the center of the group/target is shot out. But whats neat about a dot drill is that it forces you to aim center each time instead of subconsciously trying to chase the previously existing group.
