I bought 200 rounds of ammo from a certain manufacturer (im not gonna say the name right now because i dont want to bad mouth them.) I'm shooting them through my factory SPS Tactical chambered in a .308 that has 585 rounds through it. I noticed that on the neck of each casing of this ammo was a strange burn mark that i'd never seen before. Other than these marks, the ammo seemed to shoot well, 5 shot groups were .95 inches at 100 yards and had one group of 5 that was .56 inches. I've only shot 25 rounds of it and the last one i fired got stuck in the chamber. I decided to stop and examine the cases and compare them to all of the other ones i've fired in the gun. The old casings did not have the burn marks that these did, only a few had small marks.... so i'm wondering, is this normal?
