338-300 PRC

I have been shooting 338 Federal for several years and it occurs to me

Would necking up a 300 PRC to .338 show the same gains as 308 to 338?

I realize there are quite a few .338s at this point but if you already have several 300 prc rifles...........

I imagine it would be like the 338-300WM wildcat.

Sherman has the 33 Sherman Magnum which is 300 PRC necked up with an improved shoulder angle.
