I'm putting together a list of parts to be built around my Stiller TAC-338 action. I've concluded that I'll probably be doing this on a McMillan A-5, and trying to decide which barrel (none in stock), but am still trying to decide which DBM and brake to use. The Seekins DBM seems nice, but not easy to get ahold of, which leaves Bader M5 as a viable option. My buddy here bought a Badger DBM, but returned it because he didn't feel like it kept the magazine steady enough. Do you guys have any opinions of one versus the other? Also, I want a relatively low profile brake for this rifle, and like the look of the Surefire, and the Ops Inc, but am hesitant because I'm concerned it will still beat me to death with such minimalistic design. Is this a valid concern? Have any of you used these brakes on a 338?
