Gunsmithing 338 Lapua Brake...

Anyone know of an effective brake for a .338 Lapua Mag with a 1.350" muzzle? Something along the Badger FTE style?

APA's fat bastard brake is VERY EFFECTIVE but, it's not a clamp on style like the FTE. You could call Jered and see if he'll whip you one up for your dimensions.

The dual chamber break on my AWSM which is familar to the FTE works well. My gf enjoys shooting it. But you will drive people off the range if they are next to it.

Get with Nathan Dagley and tell him what you need , he makes an "extreme" brake that work amazingly well and I'm sure he would make it to your spec

+1 on muzzle brakes fro Jim See at Center Shot Rifles, I used his 4 port Muscke brake on my recent 338 LM build and it tames the recoil way down.

+1 on the APA FB Brake- they aren't that big normally, but he has the capability to make such an monster and it would be even more effective than the standard size...
