Picking up a new rifle this week for hunting Alaska. I wasn’t paying attention when I ordered and assumed it was a 1-10 twist, but I just saw it’s actually 1-12. A little on the slow side, but do you think I’ll have any issues with 230 grain eld-x bullets? Should be able to get them to 2800-2850 pretty easily. I know some of the lighter 185 bullets do well in a slow twist, but not sure how well the 230’s will be. Thanks!

I had a TRG42 that was 1:12” It was extremely accurate with 250’s. I don’t think you will have any issues with your WM shooting 230’s.
