I've been tasked with building my brother a 350 Legend ar platform for whitetail, under 200yrd rifle. I've been reading up on different manufacturing issues they've had with feed ramps and accuracy.
I've narrowed it down to all 16":
faxon gunner barrel
Ew shaw fluted
Bsf carbon shielded barrel.

I was planning on the Faxon due to their moa guarantee, however a local shop has a new BDF barrel for under $500.
Any Legend experts out there with advise.

I just put one together tonight as a spare parts build, using a Ballistic Advantage (I know) barrel. It was a toss-up between Shaw and BA, but BA was on sale and for a 5 - 200y hunting rifle busting greenbriar thickets in WV and blasting bulk 9mm ball, it should be fine. Wilson was in it but I couldn't find any in stock, and it was $100-150+ more than the BA barrel (poor checking in).

I figure BA is probably a 50/50 shot between getting an adequate and a decent barrel for the caliber, I've had no luck with Faxon before, and Shaw reviews looked decent but all I could find were HBAR profiles. BSF is neat but I don't know that I'd want to drop $500 on a 350 Legend barrel given the use case.

Most annoying shit with 350 Legend is muzzle threads because there's no goddamn standard. 1/2-28? 1/2-36? 5/8-24? 9/16-24? BA is 1/2-28 so I grabbed a Hansohn B1 for the Hux 9k on the way as it's a 1/2-28 and bored to 0.375.
