My 375 build is almost done, and I am not quite sure which bullet I want to start pushing through it. I'm looking at the 400-grain CE Lazers and 402-grain CE Mtac. Any other opinions on bullets to look into using with this 8-twist barrel? Was planning on running H50BMG powder, I also have Retumbo, N570, and N568 that I could try as well.

I tested every 375 bullet available along with all the powder choice's The best combination I found was 400 gr Lazer with N570. I have shot out 2 barrels and I am at 181 rounds on my third one. Here are the spec's
Cadex Chassis and action
K&P 36 in heavy barrel 1-7.5 Twist
400 grain Lazers
131.5 N570
Peterson Brass
215 primer
AVG FPS 3029
SD = 3.6
ES = 9.7
Measured over 10 shot string using a Gamin
I tried H50 BMG but found that if you are shooting a barrel shorter the 38 in you don't get a full powder burn pretty much the same with Reloader 50. 24N41 had SD and ES issues. N568 Had more pressure issues. Retumbo worked well but didn't like lack of case fill with the small grain.
Hope this helps

Not a fan of AREA brakes cause of the 2 piece design. Warner are nice but $$$$. The APA Fat Bastard XXX has been around a long time and it works well. It comes down to how much you want to spend. This is my old 34 inch barrel. I also now has a Zcomp scope 5-27X56 on it
