I'm having a hard time trying to find a quality made suppressor specifically designed for the .375 Cheytac. I don't want to "oversize" with a .408 or .50 cal. suppressor. I like the Thunderbeast design but they only go up to .338. Out of the dozen or so other companies I've checked, only a few offer anything over .30 cal. I don't need a "quick detatch" type, a simple screw-on that I can leave on permanently (well, except for cleaning the gun) is fine. For weight purposes, I prefer titanium. Of course it must be available for purchase in the U.S. I know, I know, "picky, picky, picky".

Re: >375 Cheytac suppressor

+1 on the STW. I have one for my Windrunner .408 and it's built beautifully and also remarkably quiet (my subjective assessment - I haven't used a sound meter). Tony and Mr. Quinn will take care of you with good CS.

Re: >375 Cheytac suppressor

Ohh!!! This place is just EVIL!!!

I had just about talked myself out of spending the money for a suppressed .375 Cheytac

and Robert of RWS (From whom I plan to purchase the Cheytac) chimes in with a suggestion

and then I get a quote from STW that is about HALF of what I was expecting to pay.

Now I'm back in the game again! My wife is going to kill me and then come hunting for you guys.

BTW, I'm planning on setting up a 2,640 yard range on BLM land in the West Desert area of Utah. I've got to have a place to put this new toy to the test!

Until the website comes back up, there's some historical information on STW and Carl O'Quinn on p 323 of Paulsen, Silencer: History and Performance, volume 2

You wont have any trouble finding a place out there in the desert! When you get it setup let me know! I'll bring the 338 Snipetac out and shoot with ya.
