I pulled the trigger from my 40x 22lr rifle to clean. While doing so lost a spring.
I am having a hard time replacing it so I am going to at least get a new trigger so I can continue shooting the rifle.

What will fit it and which should I order?
Ideally I would get a 2 stage lite trigger. It is a target /range gun so I am not so concerned with durability out in the field vs quality trigger pull.
40x experts please advise.

To me the Bix feels mushy, I have owned a few and can’t get them to feel crisp. There always seems to be a little creep in the second stage. I really like Triger Tech two stage triggers (not sure they will go as low as you want. I also love the Tubb T7T. The only reason I don’t use it in every rifle I own is the trigger body doesn’t fit all chassis / stocks. If there is a bridge just forward of the trigger inlet (kinda in the front pin area) then it may not fit.

But that is just me…

No mush when adjusted properly, sounds like you have excessive sear engagement.
