416 Barrett

Guys, a good friend of mine has retired from PD and Army at same time. He bought himself a Barrett 416 and he does not reload so I will load for him.\

I know squat about the caliber

If any of you have a good diea what/where to get components please let me know. I know I wil need to get a larger press as I only have my Progressive and two Rock Chuckers.

Also any load data you may have

Lastly how big a deal is it to form from 50BMG brass?

Do you know what you are getting yourself into? It is not like going from .223 to 30-06. More like Honda Civic to Peterbuilt.
Let me know if you really want to do this and I will tell you what you need. It will start at about $1K to load your first round if you buy new equipment

He has dies and brass. Just need bullets and press as I sold off my huge press when I sold my 408 CheyTac awhile back.

He already bought the rifle so I will load for him and I have loaded more than a few rounds ofrifle ammo from 223 to 50BMG. This one is new

Any help would be appreciated
