Has anyone loaded any .45 acp with Silhouette? I would love to try it. Ramshots load data seems kind of hot to me.

Silhouette makes a lot of gas. If you are not running a comp. you'll get a lot of blast. There are better powders for the acp.. But you can still try it. Also, it is the same powder as the discontinued Winchester "WAP" and data will interchange.

Sierra lists ramshot up to 8.5 (i think) and ramshot starts at 8.9 for 185 gr. Someone said silhouette doesnt produce that much pressure, is that right?

I don't know about the pressure. I got good velocity and 'smooth' recoil a little below Ramshot max. If I remember correctly, Ramshot lists MAX charges and instructs to start 10% below their listed MAX. I would double check that before starting.
Edit: I'm using 230gr HAP's and XTP's.
