Suppressors 45 Osprey owners...

Do you shoot wet or dry? If you shoot wet, what works best for you, (i.e. just tap water, or gel or what).

I have an Osprey9 and I just use 5cc of water. I tried wire pulling gel and thought the water was quieter.

water seems to be the cleanest and doesn't smoke. plus that stuff has got to build up over time...osprey can't be taken apart so that will eventually detract from sound quality. ...IMO of course.

We shoot our Osprey 9, 40 & 45 demos dry. They are already so quiet, that it's not worth the fuss and mess of shooting 'em wet.

If you do want to see how they sound, though - about a tbl spoon of wire pulling gel in the rear of the can will do it.

This time of year, I take a pinch of snow and stuff it in the end. Works great !!

I was chatting with gary at silencerco when i went to their facility for a repair on my osprey. (lever got loose)

Anyway, while mike was replacing hte lever, i asked gary about ablatives they use in their suppressors.

$5 at home depot, and sticks until heat dissipates it. (if you run water, you cant pre-stage your can, since it will fall out the front)
